Comorbidity, Complications & Connections in Auto-Immunity
Auto‑immunity is complex. Similar inflammatory pathways can affect entirely different tissues and organs and diseases not traditionally considered inflammatory are often strongly shaped by immune mechanisms. This unique meeting explores how inflammatory mechanisms connect apparently disparate diseases and associated complications. By looking beyond traditional clinical boundaries, the meeting aims to identify common biological themes that may shape future therapeutic thinking
